2024 ESC Guidelines for the management of peripheral arterial and aortic diseases (Translation of the summary of the document prepared by the Czech Society of Angiology, 2025)

Doporučení pro diagnostiku a léčbu onemocnění periferních tepen vznikla na základě guidelines Evropské kardiologické společnosti (ESC) (2024 ESC Guidelines for the management of peripheral arterial and aortic diseases) a odrážejí optimální diagnostické a terapeutické postupy platné v době vydání (2024–2025). Jejich cílem je především podat přehled lékařům o aktuálně nejlepším přístupu k nemocným s onemocněními periferních tepen (PAD), samozřejmě s ohledem na individuální charakteristiky jednotlivých pacientů. Síla jednotlivých doporučení je dána predefi novanými skórovacími systémy (viz tabulky 1 a 2). Doporučený postup má být vodítkem v diagnostice a léčbě PAD nejen pro specialisty v oblasti vaskulární medicíny (obr. 1), ale může sloužit všem lékařům v České republice.
