(What are the benefits of vaccination for the patients with cardiovascular diseases?)

Vaccination against some infectious diseases provides protection not only against themselves, but has also been shown to have cardioprotective effects, both in patients with pre-existing cardiovascular disease and in healthy individuals. The article discusses the importance of vaccination against influenza, pneumococcal disease, herpes zoster and their effect on cardiovascular disease, or their effect in the prevention of cardiovascular events.
