Left atrial myxoma

This case report presents the symptomatology, clinical finding, diagnosis, and treatment of a female patient with a left atrial myxoma, highlighting the crucial role played by echocardiography as a widely available and non-invasive screening technique. The introduction provides an overview of currently known facts about the etiopathogenesis, clinical features, and diagnosis of cardiac myxomas.
